Diagnosis

“Inspect the exterior to examine the interior”

The aim of TCM diagnosis is to identify the patterns of disharmony based on a set of information regarding your conditions that are gathered during consultation.

Four examination methods will be employed to collect information: Observing, Smelling, Asking and Feeling. Among them, the most important examinations are based upon observing your tongue and feeling your pulse.

Tongue diagnosis

We will observe the appearance of your tongue including shape, colour, coating, moisture, and regions. They can provide visible clues to the internal disharmony.

Pulse diagnosis

Pulse diagnosis can give very detailed information on the state of your internal organs.

Based on the gathered information, we will finally explain your TCM diagnosis and discuss the treatment plan with you.
